Darian Leader is a Lacanian psychoanalyst and founding member of the Center for Freudian Analysis and Research (CFAR)  in London.  He is a thinker, speaker, and writer whose intelligence and clarity reach a wide international audience — Lacanian and beyond.  Among his prolific publications are titles such as:  Jouissance:  Sexuality, Suffering, and Satisfaction (2021);  “Rereading Little Hans” (2021); Why Can’t We Sleep? (2019); Strictly Bipolar (2013); and What Is Madness? (2011); Why Do People Get Ill?. Most recently, in 2023 he published his latest book,  Is It Ever Just Sex?  He also features in several YouTube lectures, including:  “Interpretation” (2022); “On Jouissance” (2022); and “What Is Sex?” (2022). In all of his writings and talks, Leader illustrates his belief that psychoanalysis thrives on real questions — on exploring what we don’t know —  and inspires his readers to question even further.
