Dr. Erik Gann is a Training and Supervising Analyst, faculty member and Past — President of the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis and maintains a private practice in San Francisco. He is also a principal in the Boswell Group, which provides psychoanalytically informed consultation to businesses and organizations on a variety of psychological matters in the workplace. In addition, he is the Chair of the Psychoanalytic Scholarship Forum in the American Psychoanalytic Association, which focuses on interdisciplinary engagements between psychoanalysis and developments and discoveries in other disciplines. He has lectured widely and written about topics ranging from psychoanalytic treatment processes, practice development, educational matters, psychological issues in business and love and hate on the tennis court. For many years he enjoyed his role as an invited lecturer in the undergraduate course at Stanford on “Sleep and Dreams.”
