The Dialogues in Contemporary Psychoanalysis Program aims to foster meaningful discussion on major current trends in psychoanalysis – in terms of clinical practice, as well as psychoanalytic theory applied to topics such as politics, history, aesthetics, literature and film, gender, and development. Leading contributors present original work that is discussed by experts in that particular area. This program is intended for clinicians and others interested in psychoanalytic thinking.

Faculty, Supervisor, NYU Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis; Faculty, Supervising Analyst, PINC. Dr. Harris has published extensively on gender and development. Her books include Gender as Soft Assembly (2005) and The Legacy of Sandor Ferenczi, co-edited with Lewis Aron (2015). Dr. Harris is in private practice in New York City.
