Associate Membership

Associate Membership starts on January 1st and ends on December 31st of each year.

Associate Membership benefits will help to develop your interests in psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy  and support you in building a network of colleagues and a professional home within the Center.

Qualitifications

An applicants must:

  1. have completed two (2) years of psychoanalytic study (for example, and without limitation, a psychotherapy program, year long psychotherapy and social work program of the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis); 
  2. have completed two (2) years psychoanalytic consultation/study group with an analyst, PPTP graduate, or equivalent; 
  3. be licensed and in good standing; and 
  4. meet the ethical standards of the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis.
 Community Members who meet the above requirements are invited to apply for Associate Membership.

Membership Dues

January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025
$458 per year – INCLUDING $85 IJP subscription
$373 per year – if OPT-OUT of $85 IJP subscription

Please note that membership dues are subject to change and typically increases 3% each year.
